Why we built Helpy
Mental health support should be right there when you need it — no waitlist, no waiting room, no big bill. Helpy helps you work through hard moments on your own, using methods that are backed by real research.
What Helpy is
Helpy is a self-help tool: exercises, an AI guide, and a CBT journal, right in your browser and app. It's built for everyday support with anxiety, panic, stress, and burnout — for the moments when you need help right away.
Our approach
It's grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) — all well-researched, evidence-based approaches. The World Health Organization recommends CBT as a first-line option for anxiety. Everything here is educational and built for self-guided practice.
If you need help right now
You don't have to go through this alone. Free, confidential support is available 24/7: call or text 988 for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or text HOME to 741741 for the Crisis Text Line. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911.
